We just got back from 4 beautiful days at Fish Eagle Point with Scott, Blakely, Lula, and Elden. It was so fun to watch the kids all play so well together. After leaving in the dark early in the morning all crammed into one car for seven hours, being welcomed to lunch in this setting was perfect!
A few days of relaxing, reading, pool and ocean swimming, snorkeling, fishing, exploring tide-pools, and kayaking was great. It was hot though. Like Africa hot.
Beautiful setting in our own private cove with private bandas right on the beach.
Snorkel trip to sand island. The kids are getting braver and braver every time we go. It’s awesome to watch.
The Grahams getting in on the action. Lula loved the snorkel raft to look down and watch the fish.
Boat Fun
Quiet Time
Fishing trip. The kids will be happy to tell you that they caught 42 (yes, 42!) fish.
And the lodge’s awesome dog likes to herd the kids while they are snorkeling to keep them safe. He reminded me of Kofi.
The ride home was even longer. I think the boys counted 19 police stops (we only actually got pulled over once and they let us go), and they stopped counting speed bumps somewhere in the 50’s and that was only a couple hours into the drive.
And as an added bonus the kids put together this dance for us. Unfortunately we were on back-up power, so we didn’t have the speakers going, so you’ll need the sound up a bit, but it was awesome.
