Poor little (well big) snake was just basking in the sun, then BAM! off with his head. Probably just a grass snake, but it didn’t really die easily…sure the head came off right away, but it squirmed around for 15 minutes after that (see video below). Kids (and Sam, our gardener) kept asking if I was sure it was dead. We measured it and it was over 5 feet long.
5 foot snake we killed in the yard today.
