We all knew that this day was coming. And, yes, it was a very hard day. Harder than I thought. Thoughts of last year and how Mike, Kristin, and their precious Goyles were there for the bombings…just a block away, but safely in their hotel room to how our lives really were forever changed three months later.
We are lucky to have amazing people around us that continue to embody Mike’s spirit. Colby and Tina Shores – I don’t think you can fully comprehend what these gestures mean to us. You are truly inspiring examples of strength, dedication, and friendship. I love (LOVE!) that you ran this race together.
